We are seeking an experienced Grant Writer & Fundraising Specialist to help secure funding and expand our financial resources to support our mission in the US and overseas.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned grant writer and professional fundraiser with a proven track record of securing grants and leading successful fundraising campaigns. This individual will play a key role in developing grant proposals, cultivating donor relationships, and implementing strategic fundraising initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
Write, edit, and submit compelling grant proposals and reports.
Develop and implement fundraising strategies, including donor outreach, sponsorships, and fundraising events.
Maintain a grant and donor database, tracking deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements.
Build relationships with funders, donors, and community partners to enhance financial support.
Collaborate with internal teams to align funding strategies with organizational goals.
Monitor and evaluate fundraising performance, making recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in grant writing and fundraising for nonprofits.
Strong understanding of funding sources, including private foundations, corporations, and government grants.
Excellent research, writing, and storytelling skills.
Experience with donor management software and fundraising tools.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
